Angelo Corsaro

Angelo Corsaro, Ph.D. is CEO and CTO at ZettaScale Technology. At ZettaScale he works with a world-class team to change the landscape of distributed computing, working hard to bring to every connected human and machine the unconstrained freedom to communicate, compute, and store - anywhere, at any scale, efficiently and securely. Angelo is a top expert in edge/fog computing and a well known researcher in the area of high performance and large scale distributed systems. He has over 100 publications in journals, conferences, workshops, and magazines, and has co-authored more than ten international standards.

Konstantina Gramatova

Dr. Konstantina Gramatova is a Senior Product Architect at Bosch.IO. She has nearly 10 years of experience with embedded software development, device communication protocols, integrations and new edge computing trends like cloud-native technologies adoption, local compute and data processing, and AI enablement. Konstantina collaborates in different university research projects targeting AI, context-aware and multi-agent systems, and robotics. She is an OSS campaigner at heart, and has been with the Eclipse Kanto project since it was "just a bunch of sketchy 'boxes' on the white board behind closed doors."

Ulf Lilleengen

Ulf Lilleengen is a software engineer at Red Hat in the Research and Products team, currently focused on Rust and embedded. When not working on useless hobby projects involving embedded, Ulf is with his two kids, two dogs and wife. He loves music and plays guitar when time permits.

Gabriele Montanari

Gabriele Montanari at a young age carried out his scientific studies in Udine, in the north of Italy, and chose to interrupt his university career to found his first startup at the age of 22. He spent the next six years as CEO, developing IT solutions and products for companies all over the world. He moved to Eurotech in 2019 to improve his IoT knowledge and skills as a Field Application Engineer and then as a Solution Architect. He now serves as Eurotech's Global IoT Software Product Manager.

Mike Milinkovich

Mike Milinkovich has been the Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation since 2004. He also has a few other hats as a director of the Open Source Initiative, and a member of the Java Community Process Executive Committee. He is a passionate believer in open source as the best way to innovate and collaborate. He also considers himself to be the Eclipse community's chief cheerleader.

Henrike Gerbothe

Henrike Gerbothe works as part of the technical management team at SSV Software Systems GmbH at the interface between product creation and marketing. During her extra occupational training as a business economist she gained extensive experience in automation technology, and has deepened it in the past years.

Prasan Dutt

Prassan Dutt is an experienced and fully qualified electronics engineer who is efficient, thorough and passionate about technology and delivering service to industry. Prasan possesses extensive embedded hardware and software experience in a wide range of field applications and has the required mental and emotional strength to stand up to the rigors of this demanding profession. He is able to work autonomously and has vast knowledge of using the skills in latest development in embedded hardware & open source prototyping boards.

Frédéric Desbiens

Frédéric Desbiens is managing IoT and Edge Computing programs at the Eclipse Foundation. His job is to help the community innovate by bringing devices and software together. He is a strong supporter of open source. In the past, he worked as a product manager, solutions architect and developer for companies as diverse as Pivotal, Cisco and Oracle. Frédéric holds an MBA in electronic commerce, a BASc in Computer Science and a BEd, all from Université Laval.

Victory Opeolu

Victory Opeolu is a PhD student at Stellenbosch University and an entrepreneur. He has a background in Mechatronics and Electronics engineering with two bachelor degrees and earned a summa cum laude for his master's work. He leverages his knowledge and skills as a control engineer, programmer, and entrepreneur as well as his involvement and experiences at various research environments to drive Innovation.

Herman Engelbrecht

Herman Engelbrecht is the Head Of Department: Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University. His research interests are in Networking and networked applications; Distributed virtual environments; Reinforcement learning. He is also the director of The MIH Media Lab, a cross-disciplinary, pre-commercial research laboratory, that focuses on applying emerging information and communications technology to applications with business potential in media, engineering and commerce.

Shun-Yun Hu

Shun-Yun Hu is a social entrepreneur inspired to create time, financial, and growth freedom for the billions. Shun-Yun has been on a quest to create more freedom for people after being fascinated by virtual worlds since age 7. He was a virtual world researcher and founded Imonology Inc. to make remote agile work accessible. He founded the Joint Commonwealth Fund (JCF) to create wealth for all, by making basic income universal. He is also a vegetarian who enjoys traveling.

Charl Marais

Charl Marais is a final year student completing his B.Eng Mechatronics at Stellenbosch University. He is a driven problem-solver who enjoys acquiring new skills to overcome challenges. He is currently working as the backend developer on the VAST project, of which he has owned the role of the technical lead.

Alida Folscher

Alida Folscher is a Junior Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the utilities industry with a strong foundation in software programming principles and a variety of platforms and languages. She enjoys learning and mastering new technologies.

Kilton Hopkins

Kilton started programming computers when he was 8 years old. That was 1986.He started a software company a few years later. The world is very different than it was back then, but Kilton is still bringing new tech companies to life. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Edgeworx, which provides the world with an open-source universal edge computing platform called Eclipse ioFog. Kilton lives in Berekely, California. He received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2010. He likes to meditate, make music, and read about everything scientific.
